A new face at Curio Clayworks!
It’s such a pleasure to share the joys of clay with others who love it too. That’s what I have to look forward to at each family gathering. Meet my guest artist, my wonderful aunt Julia Edwards! Whenever we get together it’s fun to catch up on our latest project. She’s got a great eye and is a skilled potter. Here’s a little more about her:
I’ve lived in Salt Lake City all my life. My first exposure to clay and pottery was in Elementary school. I, along with two other students were selected to demonstrate working with clay at a school event. When I was in Junior High, I took art classes and the course I enjoyed the most was working with clay and doing handbuilding projects. I went back to college in 1995 and by 2001 wanted to add Pottery/Ceramics to my classes. I’ve been throwing pottery and/or handbuilding for the last 12 years.
I’m excited to announce that Julia will be offering a limited number of her beautifully hand made Nativity Tile Sets for sale in my online shop, just in time for the Christmas season! Order yours today!
